Dear Parents,

The aim of the technical education programs is to see students become excited and engaged in science, technical education, engineering, art, mathematics, and medicine. This year Pine Valley Middle School became the first and only middle school in the SRVUSD to implement a Medical Technology program. 

In this course students will be taught about technical practices and advances in medicine. They will be exposed to various medical professions. Career opportunities and pathways will be highlighted through various guest speakers. Students will also receive training in CPR and basic first aid. 

The projects that we do in the class do come with some cost. While I try my best to keep the costs as low as possible, it is still necessary to offset these costs through parent and community donations. 

I am asking for a recommended donation of $50 from Medical Tech students. All funds will go directly towards the Technical Education Programs at Pine Valley Middle School. Funds will be used for such things as:

Elective donations allow our teachers to purchase consumables needed to enrich your student's experience in their elective class. All donations are voluntary and your teacher is not made aware of donors. If you are donating by check, please bring to the front office rather than your teacher (see information below). How to donate with a check/cash:
Select a donation amount and click DONATE. Follow the prompts to check out, then click on Pay by Check/Cash. IMPORTANT, print out your receipt and include in an envelope with the check made out to "Pine Valley Middle School." Please bring donation to the front office NOT YOUR TEACHER.
